Ended up in Softcore for my first ladder reset group. We did really well, played through the night, helped gear our sorc that left at 75 to MF, and did Baal runs until around level 85.

After that first push I never played the character again. In SC I just felt like I had no skin in the game. When Resurrected launches I'm going HC forsure.

This got me thinking...

What are some of the main differences between SC and HC launch group strategies?
How did your groups end up doing?
How did your parties deal with deaths and replacing members?

ours did well, we planned our toons to tailor to a fast, yet safe reset night. druid, barb for life and potion finding, pallys for auras, tele sorc, dps sorc, necro and sin. went really well till our tele sorc stopped paying attention and ripd in nm. we continued on without him, found a new tele sorc from jsp, ran till hell baal runs into the early morning.

What you need to figure out is what reset play style do you like best and find like minded people to build your reset team with. you have your "lets try to be first to hell" teams, and your "lets make it safely to hell teams." Build a well developed team to cover the weaknesses of other classes, cuz having 8 sorcs is gonna suck!

On reset night, if you rip after a3 norm, youre most likely going to be replaced with someone from another team, who also had his team fall apart with deaths. I would say its best to practice your runs before reset night, get all on the same page, and hit reset day/night hard. Too many Alpha personalities on one team will lead to disfuntion and people bailing on the team during the run. Speaking from experience there
