I find that too much of the home grown population is lazy and lacks the aspirations of the cream of the crop that apply for work here from overseas. I try really hard to hire local but we have too many people who lack the enthusiasm of the guys who immigrate here looking for work and opportunities.

Not sure if it's the education standards, culture or comfortable standard of living here that is producing these substandard job seekers.

IMO, we should hire foreign and deport local until we reform our education system and our culture. White culture is so inferior that even white supremacists say that Asians are the supreme race.

We shouldn't hire outside assets. We should keep the money home and produce our own goods and teach our own people to do their deeds. Instead of scamming the common folks to squeeze as much money as they can out of ya, they should spend all that money on increasing the average IQ in the Western world.

From there, you get more specialists.

It's selection bias. Those who immigrate are the cream of the crop. They have actively sought out better circumstances and moved countries to do so.

I have to agree on some level. White culture is really bad. Honestly since I've been interacting with inner city blacks since I moved to where I live now, I have to admire how communal they are. Everybody knows everybody, they all watch out for each other, and as long as you're nice they are incredibly nice back. I can't say the same for whites in general in my area.

complacency and entitlement.

People are liberating themselves from the shackles of capitalism and have become disillusioned about the 40 hour+ work week so-called "American Dream".

What kind of work are you hiring for? Chances are greater than not that it's very menial, unfulfilling work.

I'm hiring IT engineers

But is the work interesting? Benefiting the world/people? Challenging people in beneficial ways? A good mix of novelty and routine?

whoever best fits the job description tbh

tech must be very different from construction though, hehe
