I ignore the ratings because it's up to personal preferences. Most reviews are made by movie critics that subtract points on almost everything. I don't care about that stuff. If it looks interesting, I'll watch it.

i have to agree with you.

im a horror movie fan and most often the 2/5 horror movies are 3+ for me ... mostly beacause horror movies haters rating em with 0,5 or 1

Critics get it wrong from time to time, but more often than not I find myself enjoying highly rated films and disliking low rated. The outliers are blockbusters who can afford to pay for reviews while making a movie just mediocre enough to score way higher than what it deserves (Marvel is the big one for this), and kids movies.

You see it occasionally with action (Boondocks Saints/Equilibrium), Comedy {Grandmas Boy/Super Troopers) or various other genres, but they're usually pretty on point.

I mostly just use them to temper expectations. I usually make my own guess based on a trailer and who's working on the film, so sometimes seeing a super low RT/IMDB score will help me enjoy it a bit more by lowering expectations. A super high rating doesn't do much for me lol, but I'll go in feeling confident about my original assessment.


Anyway, what'd you rate this one? Not sure I care enough to watch a pandemic film lol, but I'm always looking for new stuff.

I rated it a "would recommend" as in it's worth watching.

Lol, was looking for more a scale versus a "would recommend" that could be anywhere from a 5-10, depending on you.

Finaly watched it soma days ago, and have to say i enjoyed it. This is not a great movie, but realy cool to watch
