A coating that eliminates the border between the layer and the substrate?
Or maybe layer and the air?
Or a single layer with wide range?


I've checked some PDFs but i cant find the purpose of it and i have it on control questions at the end of my lectures presentation - but it wasnt mentioned there even once.
