Finally won a shuffle and got myself a 3080.

Anyone have a build for gaming I can purchase and build to fully utilize this?
Thanks!

Did you win a motherboard with it? Or only the GPU?

And it it a water-cooled GPU?

Budget?

CPU preference, Intel or AMD?

Want/need built in WiFi to the motherboard?

Are you into the flashy/light builds or prefer something solid, for the case choice?

budget like 2-3 more at most
Intel for sure
Ethernet cable is preferred as it'll be my main gaming pc
Would prefer minimal / zero lighting, just something with good air flow (don't want to utilize liquid cooling)
Also okay with an open air configuration if you think that's preferred. I don't have any animals or anything that could really cause damage

resolution are you playing at because if 1440p or higher cpu really doesnt matter much
and 5000 series from amd is pretty much the best depending what price bracket and where you are located too considering if you have a microcenter near by

No microcenter unfortunately
Right now I have a 1920x1080 144hz Asus monitor, don't really see a reason to upgrade monitor unless you think I can maintain 250+ fps in games like overwatch/valorant
Wouldn't mind paying a little more to stay away from AMD

My previous builds have had nothing but issues with them. Strongly believe in voicing my opinion with my wallet so I no longer purchase their products

CPU - Intel i7 11700K
CPU cooler - Noctua NH-D15
Motherboard - Z590 chipset motherboard...not sure which brand you prefer.
RAM - Because of the CPU cooler, I recommend Corsair LPX 16GB or 32GB. Perhaps 32GB if you're streaming and have multiple windows open. 3200MHz is the start but I don't recommend any higher than 3600MHz. Just not necessary for gaming/streaming.
Storage - Get a Gen3 SSD (like Samsung 970 or Western Digital 750) unless you really want a Gen4 SSD (like Samsung 980 or Western Digital 850)
Case - Fractal Design Meshify 2 or Corsair 5000D
PSU - I think for the 3080 the recommended PSU is a 850W.
