Okay so I decided to make mayo to go with my sandwich. To those not familiar, you add acid to some egg yolks then slowly pour in oil while constantly whisking the mixture.

Here's how Gordon does it.


Anyways, I didn't feel like whipping out the food processor for a small snack, so I decided to do it by hand. After adding my third pour of oil, I got really tired from being hungry, so I went with the soupy yellow mixture that I had. I poured it over my chicken filling, and tossed that sandwich in the microwave for a minute on high.

So my question, is that sandwich gonna kill me? :blink:

well you probably broke it by not stirring it enough and keeping a slow pour of oil going in as you constantly whisk it

WTF is chicken filling? You might want to be worried more about that than some busted up failed mayo
