Just came back to d2 after awhile away and googles reset for 2021. My results indicate December 6. Is that correct? I was just expecting June so was surprised to see the change.

No reset has been announced yet. Only speculation.
If there was may reset it would already be announced. If there is June reset you will see announcement within next 2-3 week. With D2R in development and scheduled for release this year there is no guarantee they will do a reset right before d2r release.

My guess is that they will wait until long after d2r launch to maximize incentive to play d2r. Best option would have been to do a reset shorty after d2r alpha ended so that players would have d2r release about same time season ends. But it is too late for that. If they reset in June and release d2r in august or September they risk some players skipping launch to keep playing d2 when they would otherwise pay for d2r.

But this is only my opinion. It is no more than a guess and my experience working for a game studio. I can always be wrong and reset for June is announced tomorrow.

I personally think they will reset it just as normally.. and i am expecting it too.

If they followed the usual ~6 month cycle it should be in the beginning of june...
