So I recently bought a 2009 750i and it was the worst mistake I ever made..
Paid 10,000 for it and within 4 months put another 4,000 into it...
Wish I listened to ppl when they told me not to buy an old beemer...

My question.. r Benz s equally as bad?

Every old luxury car are mostly money pit whatever the brand

rule of thumb : 100k car is like 20k per year in payment / divide by 3
thats about 6k youll have to pay in maintenance and repair per year

thats a 14k economy per year!


Long story short, dont try to cheap out on luxury

if you buy it new and maintain it properly it can last for a long time

The real reason they become garbage is most of the people who can afford them just dont give a fuck about maintenance

I have a 15 years old bimmer and one year i think i spent like 10k then the next 5 year almost nothing.. thats like 2k per year if you count right... kinda cheap if you ask me

bought a 2020 benz suv last year that i plan on keeping for 10-15 year

do research on an engine, not the car before you buy it. most all 7 series are horrible.

for example a 328i bmw is actually very reliable you would want the n52/n51 motor
