So this may have been suggested before, but I was talking with Patrick and Ron about it and we thought it'd be a good idea to have in the game.

Currently there's the ability to gain proficiency in everything we do with LS.



I think we should add the ability to gain Armor Prof for the 6 types of armor.

You would gain prof by taking hits.

If you vote no, please just share your thoughts as to why. :)

I mean no profs are "needed" but if you have prof gain for charms, heals, weapons... then why not have it for armors to cover everything? :)

Man I wish I could wear my cloths as well as you wear your cloths. Maybe one day my cloths wearing technique will be as powerful as yours!

lol I wish I could hold a dagger the way you hold a dagger. There's really no difference. What's the harm in having armor prof? :thumbsup:

Because combat techniques make sense. Someone that’s trained years and years with a weapon will be far more deadly that if I gave you a knife. If I put you in a suit of armor and a Knight from the Middle Ages in an identical suit of armor and shoot you both with an arrow you are both equally as protected no matter how many times the knight has worn that suit.

If anything your armor should degrade with time not get better. This idea isn’t new and gets no support every time someone posts a new poll for it.

in this regard, i wish 1 action = one prof. But that will never happen lol

:rofl: I mean I don't know if this game is based on a Knight from the Middle Ages... if it is then I have some questions about how some things work lol.

I get that new ideas in the LS community get shot down or not implemented 98% of the time....Thank you for that Rex... lol but I am just trying to understand how having armor prof is a negative.

how would you gain prof by getting hit? by amount of damage taken?
what does the prof give increased vita? increased EE?
spawn azapnid and let them hit you for hours? rank 20

Not a terrible idea but needs work/ more thought

Yah, I figured that if armor prof was a thing it would work the same way as the rest where not every single time you get hit is a +1, but it periodically gives you +1 like weapons and charms do.
