My lowbeam headlight burned out 3 weeks ago.

They replaced the bulb. 3 weeks ago

It burned out again last week so they replaced the bulb and connector.

It burned out again tonight for the 3rd time in the last 3 weeks.

It's a 2012 Chevy Equinox

I know very little about cars.

Anyone have any ideas?

Sounds like a fuse problem, that is often the case with lowbeam headlights. I had a similar problem with my A3 sportsback. Might be a bad regulator too, causing the bulp to blow after a short period of time. Annoying issue

First time they just changed the bulb saying the bulb was bad.

Then I went back in for the second time and the mechanic said ''the connector was hot", I have no idea what that means but he said the issue was solved by replacing the connector. But it went out again tonight.

They did the right thing by checking the connector first, often it can be corroded and that will kill the bulp. Does both of your bulps die out? or just one of them? i'm assuming both?

Oh, okay. Etleast it is not a connector problem, and i assume they checked the fuse too. Those are pretty basics. Any condensation inside the headlight? or is it just as clear as the functioning side? Because at this point, it could either be wiring or a condensation issue. If you have a voltmenter, you could measure both sides, but you might not have one of those at hand. I will ask my friend abit later who is a experienced mechanic and get back to you if i can get any helpful answers.

I went to go drop it off at the mechanic and when I hit the unlock button I noticed it's working again now. I started up the vehicle and the light is working now.
