I'm looking at the ROG Strix GO 2.4 and the ROG Delta S.
Just wondering what you guys think of wireless vs wired? What does everyone use?
I've tested out the Delta S and I think it's one of the only headsets with 50mm/Quad-DAC so spatial sound awareness is next level, but I haven't had a plug in headset in a very long time.

I'm also going to be getting into streaming on Twitch, would one be better than the other?

I'm not an audio specialist or anything of that sort. Nor am I a routine streamer. But I'd like to think those who are, or both, use wired for the better sound quality and such.

I personally use wireless. It's bad enough with wires everywhere on my desk. I got two monitors with built in USB 2.0, and these are to charge my PS4 controller, my two mouses (one gaming and one work), my two phones (one personal and one work), etc.

As for being a streamer and which quality audio you want, I think you can get away with a wireless headset. Keep in mind the broadcasting software (Xsplit or OBC?) needs to have the functions to stream or send out various audio sources - one from your game and another from your mic. And it would be ok with a wireless headset. Some professional/daily streamers go with the expensive wired ones for better audio quality and more features.

I think that as long as the wireless headset allows you to plug it in to charge it while you use it, it looks better. Wired or Wireless, you're going to want to use a better quality desk mic too instead of the MIC that comes built into your headset, the qualities are night/day.

Gl!
