TIME
Starting 17:00 (Server Time)

GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
  • This is not a traditional rolling contest! This is a psychological game! Read the rules and ranking structure!
  • Without major disruptions, this event will have a total duration of up to 90 minutes including several short breaks.
It is advised to stay active during the whole event.
  • Maximum number of participants is 30. Altough there will be a waiting list, in case we get more registrations some players do not show up to the event.
  • A total of five rounds will be played. Each round, you can earn round points (RP) towards the grand prize, aswell as win small portions of the prizepool (PP) already.
Each round will last for 7-8 minutes with a short break in between.
  • After five rounds, the total of all RP will determine the grand prize winners.
  • To participate in this event send a whisper to SubbroT that contains the name of a private chat-channel of your choice.
Make sure noone else knows the name of this channel other than you and the hosts.
Example message: /w SubbroT I'm in! My channel is /join whatisthisgameabout

PRIZE POOL AND GRAND PRIZE
    Prize pool
  • 200 Promotion points
  • 20.000 Bound Rhodium
  • 20.000.000 Bound Spare Parts
    Grand prize
  • 1st place: 25% of PP & 25 Trivia points & golden "Rolling Brain"
  • 2nd place: 15% of PP & 15 Trivia points & silver "Rolling Brain"
  • 3rd place: 10% of PP & 10 Trivia points & bronze "Rolling Brain"
  • 4th place: 5% of PP
  • Highest score out of all five rounds, that did not make it into 1st-7th: 5% of PP & "Unlucky Roller"
  • Everyone that earned atleast one RP: 1 Trivia point

THE GAME
  • The game consists of two stages - the rolling stage and the submission stage.
  • During the rolling stage, every player has two minutes to roll their dices in a private channel, without other participants knowing what they rolled.
  • During the submission stage, every player has five minutes to submit ONE of their previously rolled scores by copy&pasting the entire chatline including timestamp into their private channel.
  • All submitted scores are ranked by high to low and to win RP your entry needs to be within highest 1st-7th.
NOTE: This is not a traditional ranking structure. You actually don't want the highest score, or the lowest. 4th highest score wins the most prize points.
  • To win the 8th place you need to submit the lowest score.
    Round ranking
  • 1st: 2 RP
  • 2nd: 3 RP & 1% of PP
  • 3rd: 1 RP
  • 4th: 7 RP & 5% of PP
  • 5th: 1 RP
  • 6th: 4 RP & 1% of PP
  • 7th: 1 RP
  • 8th: 1 RP & 1% of PP

RULES
  • Only "/roll 5d42" is a valid roll during this tournament.
  • The submitted roll must be visible to the host in your channel (within 100 chatlines).
  • Hosts cannot scroll through every channel to check if your submitted roll is valid, but we will check occasionally - cheating will result in disqualification and voiding of all previous winnings!
  • The timer for rolling/submission stage starts with the hosts announcement in the games-channel and ends after exactly 2/5 minutes (chat timestamps!) - no further "closing" needed.
  • In the event of a tie for a round ranking, the winner (better rank regarding RP) will be determined by the earliest timestamp on their roll.
  • In the event of a tie for the grand prize, the winner will be determined by who has the higher total of all submitted rolls.

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me in-game via whisper (/w SubbroT) or in the games-channel.
I'll make sure to keep an eye out for any questions regarding the event and try to respond as soon as possible.
That aside, I wish everyone the best of luck and hope you all enjoy the event
