I listen to a ton of progressive rock / metal. Gojira probably being my favorite band. But back in the day doing GFX it was the typical metal of the time. Slipknot, mudvayne, static x, disturbed, korn, adema, etc. probably only listen to mudvayne of all that now, being they’re progressive metal. I just dig odd time signatures, syncopation, concept albums, shit never staying the same. Would probably enhance any creativity in my work today if I’d pick it back up..
