Hello guys, wondering if any1 here has any clue of what is going on here
I built this pc about a year ago and have had no problems up until a couple of weeks ago.

Computer specs

Asus X570 Tuf Gaming Pro
Amd Ryzen 7 3700x - I have replaced the rbg stock coooler with a Dark rock pro 4
Evga 2060 Super
32Gb 3600hz Corsair Vengeance Pro (4 x 8gb)
750w Fully modular corsair power supply
Sabrent Pci 4.0 1Tb M.2 (currently replaced by a 480gb kingston ssd) thought this would fix my issue and it somehow did for 36hrs? computer was running FINE until the next day i swear
4tb hdd

240Hz Alienware 1080p Screen
K70 Corsair keyboard
G502 Logitech mouse

The crash is RANDOM... and ONLY happens when i'm playing games. TO be more specific I play 3 games on this PC atm. Diablo 2 , SC2 & Valorant. Both SC2 & Valorant will crash my pc (D2 seems fine?!?!?)
sometimes it'll crash during a simple alt+tab command... sometimes ill crash in the lobby after a full game of SC2/Valorant or literally ingame between two bunny hops on Valorant
Iv had a few black screens. But usually the screen freezes on a frame, RGB keyboard turns black & the pc won't respond. It'll sometimes take a few reboot attempts to fire it back up.

Sometimes while rebooting my pc, I would see messages like ''disk repair / disk scanning for repair''. which led me to believe my m.2 drive was acting up. I have since switched to a sata ssd w/ a clean fresh w10 Install. This somehow solved my issue for 36hrs?!?!? and have not seen the same error message since

I'm no computer expert by no means, just tryna get some input before I decide to bring it somewhere... this is really annoying, esp with D2R around the corner :(

w10 updates & drivers are up to date

let's see if General help is a more suitable place for help

Are you getting a bluescreen? tenforums has a section for bluescreen trouble shooting and they are absolutely amazing at supporting them.

If you want to explore the situation here I'd start with some basic stress tests as it looks like your computers probably overheating based off the two games that the crashes happen with, I would run a stress test software such as Cinebench (CPU test) , Heaven & Valley Benchmarks (GPU).

have seen maybe one bluescreen in 80 crashes. it usually freezes on a frame or completely shuts off :(

Ill give Cinebench (CPU test) a shot

Your CPU shouldn't be getting to 80 that fast, it should stay between 60-75 for awhile before ramping up (is your CPU fan working?) I'd check your air config to make sure its setup as a push pull configuration.

If that isn't the case I'd re-do the thermal paste on the CPU.

I am also concerned about it crashing at 80 as your CPU is rated for 95*

~

is it overclocked? You may need to increase the CPU voltage slightly or just turn off the overclock.

everything is stock atm. All I did was a fresh w10 install / cleaned all my drives. Updated both w10 & gpu drivers. Bios version is also up to date. Not even running xmp profile 1, my ram is running @ 2133mhz. I was indeed getting high temps with the stock coooler. Not with this new one... I idle around 45-50 usually on my desktop

Ijust took a screenshot on my phone while crashing xD.

Ya, I would check out the windows 10 forums. (tenforums) they have way better people for this type of issue.

Doing a very very rough mobile add up of your power requirements you don’t seem to have much headroom. Graphics card alone requiring 200 watts, multi core processor load on that motherboard ~180 watts, cooler claims 250 watts consumption. Might be running out of power. I would recommend looking up all your components power requirements and see where that lands you.
