Or even just using Nvidias Control Panel.
so yeah this is bad for PvP.
click the imgur link below to watch somebody abusing this "mechanic"
https://imgur.com/W0Pfl6Gsome extra copypasta:
"Good tests but I disagree with the conclusions.
After the bow was fired at the enemies on the side of the screen they started moving, but they were not "Aggro'd". They were just doing a basic AI movement to get out of harms way, which is why most of the time they walked away from the user. The gargantuan beast just happened to eventually stroll close enough toward the player to "see" him and be properly aggro'd.
I do not think Blizz has done any work to change the aggro range, and still think it's a problem for PvM balance, let alone PvP balance.
It is interesting to show you can just manually adjust your resolution to whatever ratio in Nvidia control panel. With that in mind, whats stopping us from loading some insane ratios like 90:1 and teleporting a whole area in 1 tele, or casting blizzard from 10x screens away?
Hint: nothing stops you and its totally game breaking."
Just an idea from another commenter:
"They can just make it so you just can't see other players outside the real 'edge'.
For example, when you turn hostile to another player, you'd get a PvP debuff that makes everything outside the 4:3 ratio pitch dark and ignore Light Radius bonuses."
What do you guys think? I mean, it's obvious this
will kill PvP, if not fixed prior to launch.
