I 100% agree. The media is being far too aggressive here and this process will take time. Whether or not it's a lab leak can be tabled from a response POV because we already know that they tried to cover the spread early on. THAT should be the discussion in the media and we should wait for the science/intelligence to come up with an assessment years from now.

-supported blanket lockdowns and school closures without evidence
-said masks are required even after vaccine
-never denounced the CCP and WHO
-lied and redirected when asked about funding CHinese gain of function research
-lied CONSTANTLY whenever criticized - he even said that criticism of him was "going against science"

At first there weren’t studies showing masks to be effective since it was a new strain of a virus. Once it was shown masks helped reduce the spread he changed the recommendation. Recommendations change since they’re based on science which changes when new information comes out.

He said masks were required after vaccination since at the time studies showed that they reduced symptomatic infection they weren’t able to tell if they reduced asymptomatic infection or if they reduced someone from spreading it so he said to continue wearing masks until we knew more.

He did the best he could at communicating the most up to date data to the American public while working for a president who constantly downplayed the virus.



Yeah trump was in charge so in the end the response falls on him but people just blame fauci

History will remember Trump's handling of the pandemic as one of the most brave acts of leadership ever. There was no precedent by which to operate and Trump managed to minimize deaths, create a vaccine through deregulation, and keep the economy from crashing. The slight disagreements and tantrums seen on air don't fucking matter in the end, only to effeminate people like you.

Alternatively Fauci was always a failure.
