how do you sell gold on classic in a save way?

like 1000g trading it for some trash? is that save eunogh?

What I've been doing is either tell them to buy an epic, or I say I'm looking to buy a mythic 15/pvp boost. After they agreed to w.e I made up I ask them to send FG over d2jsp and then I trade them gold

No. This is on classic. Cross platform trading is allowed ie you can offer Mythic 15s on retail for classic gold. Do you think blizzard is going to investigate if you trade 1k gold and in the party you're buying a service for retail? Ofcourse not lol

If you can't find a epic buy the highest ilvl 10g blue item you can find and then whisper the seller it's a bis item for BC and ask whatever amount of gold you're buying on d2jsp.

All you need is a fake story/fake trade to happen that makes the gold transaction(s) look legitimate
