Has the game evolved to the point where it's not ideal to have 2 players in your 5 man rotation who can't shoot from 3?

I think it works if the 2 can attack the basket, but without good dribbling skills or post moves it's impossible

Lineups for example with the 76ers where Simmons and Dwight share the floor, with the Pelicans where Zion and Adams share the floor, Warriors when Looney and Draymond share the floor, lineups with the Bucks when Bledsoe and Giannis shared the floor all drop off significantly in offensive rating especially in the half court

Dwight has hit FOUR threes this season, he's spacing the floor just fine KID.

Not but seriously, the answer is yes. Two players who can't shoot does stall the offense a bit and you have to get creative. It's not a killer, but it limits your opportunities.

Name 1 team that doesnt have 2 guys at the perimeter at all times ready for a catch and shoot 3.

wait, what?

I was agreeing that it somewhat limits the offense by having two guys that can't shoot at all on the floor together. It's not a deal break, but you have to get more creative and it certainly shrinks the floor.

Ideally, you can go 5 out. Worst case scenario, you have 1 guy that can't shoot and the rest can to force the defense to play honest. Now if you have 2 guys that can't shoot you all of a sudden change the flow of the offense.

That's not saying much, we know there are AT LEAST 2 guys on the floor at a time for that. Usually 3 or 4 in some cases.

What's your point of saying this? Nobody is arguing that so i'm confused lol
