just thinking about how im gonna spec my sorc when d2r comes out, no this is not a d2r topic

how would you spec your sorc in diablo 2 if you were to go single player?

i thought about something like this:

start off with fireball sorc until like act 1 nightmare (which is lvl 40 or so? no idea) then respec and go frozen orb since u can put 10 in each frozen orb and cold mastery

after maxing orb/cold mastery remaining points into fireball i and synergies i guess?

That's about right, though I'd respec after killing Andy with fire (she has bad fire res)

Quest bug NM Andy is good for magefists, vmagi etc so I would probably bug her and do nothing but Countess + Andy runs until I have Spirit sword, Mages/Chancies etc then progress.

Once higher level fireball is easy to use but requires a lot more points to do decent damage. Firewall requires a lot less points invested but harder to aim, can be a nuisance until your merc get some leech and can tank so you can use him to firewall enemies easier.

She has the best odds to drop soj in the game, little over 1:3800 with zeor MF. Which in the grand scheme of D2 are actually very good odds.

ye they seem like such common items due to our 13467123428136423 automated friends, but in reality i dont think i even ever found one xD

i usually go nova/static until blizz then blizz until hell a3 then I just mf andy + meph with blizz

I respect into blizz, then i do nude mephistos until i don't get shako and everyone has enigma.

you got 3 free re-skilll with each of 1quest act1 in each mode, then unlimited respect with token ( you got to trade them, or farm the endbosses of each acts in hell, who give each a different essence (except andy&duriel who give the same), then cube 1 essence of each)

Fire in normal
Leaf runeword is strong enough to make it always worth it

Cold+fire for nm/hell and lightning once you have infinity

Only issue is hell travincal immunities
