So just to confirm, according to the only link that's actually relevant this discussion (which is the third one with CPU performance relative to other CPUs, categorized at resolution), you don't think that on the 1080 resolution with 2700X ranked at 88% and going to a 5600X is a dollar well spent or best bang for your buck?
I purposely neglected the 1440 resolution charts because in the discussion/comments to your link, there's some discrepancies from the chart itself from an actual user that upgraded from a 2700X to 5600X.

I run 165hz 1440.
I only use the pc for gaming.
The monitor copied from amazon that i use
ASUS TUF Gaming 27" 2K HDR Curved Monitor (VG27WQ1B) - WQHD (2560 x 1440), 165Hz (Supports 144Hz), 1ms, Extreme Low Motion Blur, Speaker, FreeSync Premium, VESA Mountable, DisplayPort, HDMI , BLACK
1440p resolution
cpu matters less unless you think spending 300 plus for 5%
