It, a mysterious immortal being, is sent to the Earth with no emotions nor identity. However, It is able to take the shape of those around that have a strong impetus.

At first, It is a sphere. Then, It imitates the form of a rock. As the temperature drops and snow falls atop the moss, It inherits the moss. When an injured, lone wolf comes limping by and lays down to die, It takes on the form of the animal. Finally, It gains consciousness and begins to traverse the empty tundra until It meets a boy.

The boy lives alone in a ghost town, which the adults abandoned long ago in search of the paradise said to exist far beyond the endless sea of white tundra. However, their efforts were for naught, and now the boy is in a critical state.

Acquiring the form of the boy, It sets off on a never-ending journey, in search of new experiences, places, and people.

just finished the first ep.. was damn good imo

With how good the manga is it's easy to say this is probably gonna be that best anime this season.
Especially with the great art, animation and music direction so far.

Loving the anime so far.

March was pretty cute this episode, looking forward to the rest.

Personally... grats... wish I had the same type of response if they did the episodes in sub and dub at the same time.

I can not physically listen to the high pitched voices of subbed anime... guess it comes down to hearing aids... or is it just aids you can listen to squealing voices. And yes, in some cases the dubbed version has some similarities... but to me... if I was online Vent, Skype or any other VOIP software talking to you and I decided to WHISTLE... what would your response be? ... yup... mute me whistling... same as subbed anime.

watching anime in the original language helps me to better understand the culture that is being shared by the creator, there are tons of innuendos and slang that are spoken in a form of Japanese that cannot be translated, so the dubbed version just modifies and remake the verbal exchanges within scenes.
this is seen as a lower quality form of information digestion by me, because it isn't from the original creator of the show, and also because it is from the English speaking culture which I am trying to escape from by watching anime in the first place.
the reason why I watch foreign films/cinema and television is to take in and appreciate other nations points of view and cultural impression.

so the act of taking a foreign made media and watching it with the plot partially rewritten to adjust for the direct translation inefficiency seems like disrespect to myself and to the source creator.

I like being able to watch a show in my native language because it feels like I can process the emotions and scenes easier, quicker, and more successfully; But I don't like to impair the quality of the original source media to accommodate.
