I havent been on for a year or so and this site is way less busy than before... what changed?

I think Mrllamasc has something to do with it. I used to come here for support and community but now I just watch his youtube vids

Game being 20 years old doesnt help

I think a big part of why there is less activity in this subforum is due to the high activity of the D2R forum and the private realm forums. There are always quite a few people in both each time that I look. I am sure that some of those people would normally be here instead. I am one of those people . This is still my favorite forum in all of the internet though

You people really think Mr. Llama is some kind of god that dictates everything that happens in the community, are you? No, he's just a dude, wake up! On top of that, he's not even the best at what he does, but that's another topic for a different time...
Diablo 2 Resurrected is on the way, that's the reason. I think a big chunk of players are building anticipation for it, and are simply distancing themselves from the vanilla game, i know i do. I haven't played D2 in more than a year and right now i really want to get back to it, but i'm not going to until Resurrected, simply because i don't want to get burnt out before the HD release.
