I think the word Sold is not the best use for this idea. I feel like it could imply the wrong meaning to a trading situation. A word like Close could be better.
If it would enable the first topic to be edited a user could also come by and make additional edits they may find useful or considerate. For example if a user is remaking a topic and would like to close a current topic they could now edit the first post in that closing topic to reflect so. If this Button that enabled all this was also regulated by the 4 hour bump rule it could help people from regularly making any mistakes by using it or abusing it. This regulations may also help prevent any ongoing confusing with additional trading rules that may need to be applied here.
