At first this is what I thought too
but then I realized what the people running this world wanted to do. (Digitize everything)
So this is what's being pushed forward and nft's are a part of it.
I know it's hard to see it now in it beginning phaze
but it's just the beginning and if your not involved or following cryptos, then it's even harder to see what nft's can evolve into in the future.

And in the meantime
the rich get richer and the poor become more poor
money gets printed out of thin air. 30+ % more money printed this year alone
and counties are in more dept
and more dept = more control of the people and people's freedom get taken from them as a result

People never believe in new technology like the internet for example when it was first purposed
people thought it was a bunch of b.s. Now look at it

Now the rich invest in cryptos and get very rich on digital money that you cannot physically hold and the poor get left behind

If no open trading game is also ruined, so we have two options, to get real arpg that is true to its ancestors(counting D3 when there was AH) and that gives the most of a game genre and in some time we get bots(if they don't want or can't fight them) or to get crippled arpg with no bots that will get boring in a month or a two after many will give money to company and justify making of a even more crippled D5 which will be even more away from real hack and slash aprg. All that aside its not ours to care about bots, we are paying money to get good game and arpg without open trading is not a good game from the start so no point in buying it. You said botters will ruin the game, which means that game will be good and in time will get worst and worst because of company not fighting or can't fight bots, in other case as said above we will get bad game at the start, so i would always chose to have a year or two of awsome game(like d3 was before AH closure) than to get as bad game from the start which i won't even buy in case of no open trading.

This is why games suck these days, they need to go back to the basics.

games suck now these days because game makers are greedy. All they do is spend a bit of money on advertisement/trailers to trick people into thinking it's going to be a good game.
it's now money made vs time spent making game ratio.
