This post is a violation of the site rules and appropriate action was taken.

Watching you morons talk about his injuries like he plans them is just entertaining to watch. It's not like he pulls his hammy repeatedly over and over like will fuller, or keeps reinjuring his same knee.... he's had a torn ACL, two high ankle sprains, and a sprained shoulder. This is not what you call injury prone. This is called BAD LUCK.
Please keep up the good work people

Edit:

Specifically these morons

This x100

I loved the kid when he was with NE and thought he'd be our future, but I don't know if he'll ever make it another full season without an injury and if he does, it will be only on a contract year lol.

Exactly, 49ers are more likely to just cut him and save 24m rather than pay a backup QB who can't stay healthy starter money.

Jimmy G is not worth trading for and inheriting that contact...

He is a good QB but has not been able to stay healthy.

The way some teams draft they're prolly better off dumping a 1st rounder on a mediocre injury prone qb

49ers not being unreasonable given the current nfl qb market

So he's not injury prone because his game inhibiting injuries occur in different places?

Couldntpredict nor prevent his injuries, they could have happened to anyone given the same circumstances. idk how that's hard to understand.

well, some guys go through those circumstances and seem to get injuried.

other guys don't.

the ones that seem to get injured a lot can be called injury prone.

the ones that don't get injured generally aren't called injury prone.

?

Also, this wasn't preventable?

Exactly, like will fuller. You can predict that every game he plays he's going to tweak his hammy' because he has a long history of it. That's injury prone. Jimmy G has just has unfortunate injuries that have been severe which would happen to anyone in the same circumstances.

And to elaborate even further, a very large percentage of players get injured every year because it's a very violent game. Injuries are apart of the game. the differences of the majority of them to ones like Jimmy G is the severity. He has just had an unlucky shake of the dice. So do we call everyone injury prone just as a baseline? and then we have like a sliding scale to elaborate the severity? Because if we use your definition of injury prone this is the course we'd have to take

I think injury prone could be described as susceptability to sustaining injury which inhibits a player from performing.

Most "injury" that occurs is not of the inhibiting nature. That's what's of concern.

Would you agree George Kittle is more injury prone than Travis Kelce? According to your definitions you would not, as these injuries occurred in various places, and don't appear to be avoidable.

But everybody agrees Kelce is more durable than Kittle because he's missed far less snaps.

I get your point there's a randomized probability. But there also isn't. That video I posted of Jimmy's knee injury he should have gone out of bounds or gone into contact. It was completely avoidable. Tom Brady isn't injury prone because of his play style.
