Ps3 psp and ps vita store shuts down in July and august

That sucks.. mainly for Vita.

Once you can no longer sync your ps3/vita trophies to the servers, thats when itll truly be the end of an era, you can still buy games physically
And that day is approaching within the next few years i feel
Once sony realizes ps now isnt profitible anymore thats when theyll shut down the ps3 servers for good
People like to argue that the psn server is there to stay
But theres a reason why you cant view next gen trophies or anything of the likes on older hardware
They spliced the network to one day close down the older shit
Which sucks cuz i have a backlog 6miles long but it’s inevitable and in the forseeable future i do believe

Yeah that will be a bad day. I have so many PS3 and Vita games to play through. I really only buy physical, but occasionally I pick up cheap games for easy plats on the stores.

Sony has been shutting down ps3 servers left and right until theres going to be nothing left
If the playstation network is all the same, why cant you view ps5 related trophies and things alike on older hardware, sure you cant run a ps5 game on ps3, thats obvious but you cant even view a trophy list either? A wall of text? Thats weird
Ps Now is basically the last line of defense in sony showing ps3 support
I know lots of people with active ps+ memberships
I dont know a single person with an active Ps Now subscription
Ive only ever heard of people abusing the 7day timed trials to whore easy platinums in a weeks time and ive been one of those people
Speaking of ps now, you can buy a month in NA right now for $1

yea ive never heard of anyone using PS now either. i dont even know the deals, whats released in those months or anything. i just know, or believe to know its kind of like a game rental subscription? pay for it, get the game for a month, then thats it.

i can see them closing servers of whichever company made the game just to save some costs, but for sony itself to shutdown a portion of their server to sync trophies from ps3 seems like such tiny amount of costs to save on. not sure how many sales of online games/in store games they do, but if they know their player base i think they should know that this would affect that somehow.
