woke up early to hit them computer stores up to grab one of these crappy amd cards with crappy ray tracing and no dlss but oh wait.......

amd didn't ship any units to any god damn stores... worst gpu release ever. went to 3 different stores and they all told me they didnt get any shipments from amd and that amd is worse than nvidia when it comes to stock. they can only be bought online an were sold out 3 hours before they were available to the public for purchase. what a crock can someone please get intel to save us.

oh and these cards perform worse than the 3060ti and are on par with the 3060 with crappier ray tracing and no dlss much like the rest of the amd 6000 series, and 5000 series and the rest of their trash.

bought a bunch of storage upgrades instead.

anyone know any good procedures for transferring your games and operating system without having to reinstall and redownload everything?

I had success moving my SATA M.2 SSD from my Alienware 13 to Alienware 13 R3 (these are laptops). I didn't need to reinstall anything, but I did have to download the drivers and such. I didn't have a secondary storage so for me, it was really easy to just switch.

As for the ray tracing (Fidelity FX?) on Radeon, is it released? I thought they were a couple months delayed.

maybe im mistaken but im pretty sure the 6700 6800 6900 all have active ray tracing support. i sawr a demo video on with them with it enabled.
amd fidelity fx is different from ray tracing and has been out for like a 2 years. i dont have a new amd card so im just talking crap but my asus rog strix rx 460 4gb does has amd fidelity fx support to the games that offer it ofc.

You're right. I'm confusing ray tracing with DLSS. Radeon's version of DLSS is Fidelity FX.

almost beat the bots. i would have loved to know what the extra step was... i bet the bots know...

look at those scalper prices on a certified retailer rx 6700 xt is suppose to be around 450-550$

I feel like the retailers are about 20 years behind in technology compared to the stellar and other bots. seems like the only thing they can do is raise the price to try an minimize profits from scalpers? when the 3080ti releases in a few weeks they better have units in physical stores or i'm gonna punch a nerd in the face.
