Comedy movie you think would fit in a top 20 list.

At least one.

Probably would be too tough to say. What people find comedic changes over time.

I'm just fishing for movies, so just something random good you would place somewhere in/around top 20. No pressure, no one cares, just namedrop a favorite or two.

The other guys is one i'd place there somewhere.

in a list of top 20 comedies? Borat, Holy Grail and Spaceballs made me laugh pretty hard in their day.

or a comedy that would fit in a list of top20 overall greatness? Office Space.

Something About Marry
Spy
Shaun of the Dead

I never understood the appeal of Zombieland, I honestly just see it as a mediocre film and can't think of a single funny moment. I also fucking hate Melissa McCarthy, she is so boring and unoriginal, like her entire career is just being a shitty Chris Farley.

Shaun of the Dead and Office Space are pretty great.

For dumb guilty pleasure movies I'd say Hot Rod and Pineapple Express.

I also really enjoy
Idiocracy
Zoolander
Game Night (not sure if it would hold up on a rewatch)
Kung Fu Hustle (movie is amazing)
Hot Fuzz

I hate Will Farrell but old school and the other guys are great, little his only movies I can stand watching.

The Big Lebowski is a really good movie as well.

If you want stuff older than late 90s then there is a lot more to choose from.

Everyone always goes Lebowski, it's an enjoyable movie, but I've always felt it's overrated as fuck.

I love Woody Harrelson, so that's a big part of what made the first Zombieland so enjoyable for me. As far as Melissa McCarthy goes, a lot of her stuff is hit or miss, but I had Zero expectations for Spy and it was fucking hilarious. Jason Statham was amazing in it.

E: Kung Fu Hustle and Shoalin Soccer are both topnotch, was just telling the wife yesterday how hilarious Kung Fu Hustle was, she rolled her eyes at me lol.

Maybe Airplane! or some other Leslie Nielsen gag movie like Naked Gun? These movies still hold up pretty well even today.

Some of my personal favourites though are Happy Gilmore and Old School
