Could be like they do in PoE, your seasonal stash is added as a tab to your non-seasonal stash, but it's made remove-only, and disappears once it's emptied.

easiest solution to this: items that were made on ladder will probably have some marker in the code and will be invisible/non-accessable when u play a new ladder char

At least eventually
Surely they can have shared stash too

Only mentioning it seems most thinking like its just for ladder
