noone?
is this to hard or am i not paying enough?
i thought it wouldnt be to bad considering what i paid for a non animated one...
If I'm being honest, it wasn't enough fg for me to attempt it.
Working with animated graphics is more time and work to begin with - and then when you factor in d2jsp's absolutely ludicrous
70kb signature limit, and it becomes very challenging to make any design that'll fit into the size limit without looking really, really bad. For reference...
A single frame from a 20-frame animated gif saved with decent settings. Total size: 221kb:
A single frame from that same gif saved with settings that allow it to be 69kb:
And that's with a theme that's mostly black and red! The wider range of colors you include, the more you have to trash the quality to shrink it down to the size limit.
/edit: I'm not saying it isn't possible to make animated sigs look good, but artists' options are very limited when it comes to animated sigs, which adds to the challenge/time. What i wound up doing for this one is cutting the frames down; the fire animation no longer looped, but it was under 70kb and had decent quality.
Hope this gives you a better idea and answers your question haha.
