Yea I get what you're getting at, but it's a new team, and they're communicating with the community.
They also have great success with their previous remasters of other games.

One thing to be aware of is that Blizzard is hyper-aware of their reputation on top of a Blizzcon(line) event.
While some might seem logical to change in order to satisfy the community, it's hardly always that they will, as other priorities might take over.

Have you heard them make one single out-of-flavour announcement to any single Diablo release/announcement yet?

Yea again, I totally agree with you, Blizzard has .. been very clowny for a long time..
But it does look like they're trying.

They fired the team that made WC3Reforged
They hired a team, who previously has high succeess..
