Rouge video has completely turn my away from diablo 3.5 it truly looks like a shit game so far but they have a lot of time to make it less like d3
I’ve read elsewhere that was a good point. Blizzard knows that d3 was a fail but still had a few core players for a couple years but once they all stoped playing d3 they had no where to go.
D2r is blizzards back up plan for sure
When d4 fails (and the diablo phone game) and has millions of people not playing after a few weeks blizzard will have d2r to catch all those people looking to move on from d4/mobile game. So even if you don’t like the 1 diablo game there will be 2 other recent diablo games to go to instead of just giving up on blizzard and playing something else
D4 and diablo mobile will be targeted to kids who have never played real diablos ( d1/d2) younger crowds who need a break from fortnight and what ever what ever else kids play now a days
