All of the new movies, including Rogue one, have been shit.

That's your opinion but to me it was probably top 3 out of all the star wars films ever made, it didn't have forced humor, forced happy ending, resurrection of characters who died etc.

To be honest, only Empire is a great movie in the first place. Your reasoning doesn't make a hell of a lot of sense, since it's a Disney movie and the jokes are ALWAYS forced and bad, always. As far as a forced happy ending, we knew the ending since before starting to watch it, so you think doing something that surprises absolutely no one is the best approach? And resurrection of dead characters, dear god lol, it takes place in the past, so they were able to put the most iconic dead character ever in it.... That's what Disney does, which again, is why alllllll their movies and shows suck.

Pandering, god awful humor, horrible characters, predictable plots, and phoned in performances is what any reasonable person has come to expect from Disney, whether it's SW or Marvel.

Agreed, & that's also the general consensus among the SW community.

The "SW community" also thought TFA was an amazing movie until TLJ came out, and that Episode 6 is actually good, so there's that. Bunch of fickle whiners who have a completely skewed view of how good the originals were in the first place.

The community thought it was decent - good, & a potentially good launch-point for the rest of the trilogy. Despite it being, to some degree, a re-hash of episode 4. (Individual who’s strong in the force, stuck on a desert planet, dreaming of something greater, who finds information pivotal to a rebellion, from a droid, that the enemy faction desperately wants.) This obviously didn’t pan out. Nobody thought it was amazing. Episode 6 is generally considered the least favorite of the OT.

Sure...... that's what people say now, but that's not even remotely what was being said when it came out lol. The freaking film had over a 9 on IMDB when I went to see it, which shockingly has drastically fallen since the other two titles have come out (shocked face). As far as E6 goes, yes, it's the worst film in a series lauded as the best trilogy in film history. Doesn't make a lot of sense if 33% and the most important part of the trilogy is a joke from start to finish? Again, outside one movie, SW has always been fairly mediocre. If you remove TLJ, which to be fair was an absolute fucking disaster, the latest series was better than the prequels. On top of that, E4 was just ripping off other people's ideas and having other directors make it palatable, while E5 was the only thing that was a truly fantastic film. Unpopular opinions for sure, but SW fans are always going to bitch and moan if everything isn't 100% perfect, which it'll never be, since their views of the original series are completely distorted to begin with.

You can hold whatever opinion you want my guy, albeit that's all it is, your opinion. You have a tendency to portray it as some sort of fact though.
