If I buy a token from someone in the trade forum. Can I exchange it for ingame gold? Or only redeem it for wow time / battle net balance?

I need wow gold and am wondering if the only way is to strictly make a thread specifically buying wow gold on my server. And am wondering if I can just buy tokens instead.

When people buy tokens here, the dude selling just give them the actual amount of gold they need to buy a token at the AH.... So you could just keep the gold instead of buying a token but ... might as well just buy gold then!
