Best reason. Great game to introduce to casuals. I had a blast playing with my girlfriend.

solo untwinked ps5 is pretty fun... no modded gear and just playing it solo

Playing season is better, You have three mths or a bit longer depands on blizzard, To find the perfect item and lvl up your para and climb the ranks and beat the next person, or yourself.
So when the next season starts you try and beat your record on the last season and see how high you push yourself.
Sure it can be boring doing the same thing but that is like any game, Depands you play with the clan the people you chill with.
I am sure d2 was the same same thing over over again.

I play it occasionally because it’s easy and casual. Gets boring quick, especially as your drops start to lose variety quickly. Everyone craps on D3 but it has its uses and occasional fun times.

Get in leaderboard and the fun of playing with real players instead of bots.

Trades are nice but come at the cost of bots overtaking the game and ppl spending 90% of their time on d2jsp and making list of the items their bots found.
