Maybe a good and alternative way to make it a little more user friendly is to separate community notifications from trading notifications. Then the notifications page could display 2 separate pages of notification to choose to focus on. On mobile phone it would stack the two, with Trading being first.

When you track a sub-forum or track a topic you could select Community or Trading Notifications, meanwhile the box would already be selected for convenience.

This is just pointless.

I think it would help for those who have Customer or Verified Perks, which have access up to 150 pms and able to track 250 topics and 5 Forums, while also receiving notifications when being tagged, and more.

It might be helpful for those who are using the site from a cell phone, as using this forum is a bit of different experience with different possibilities.

I think you are right in the sense that it is more of a user-preference kind of situation and it would not necessarily need to apply to all accounts on jsp, and all the time.

Lets break this down into 2 different notification systems too, this way one can set up some personal focused priority push notifications to a their Android Smart Phone while having the regular notification received on another device, etc. We already have push notification settings that work well. The general idea in this post would enable a way to further utilize and define some current site features/systems and maybe in a manner that might be possible for the site to enabling multiple current or new features/site suggestions that may become more and more useful.
