as far as i know they're main model is to buy up and develop bitcoin mining. also they seem to fund work in other crypto projects, and likely mining in other crypto projects.

Wish I had known companies like this existed before it exploded. That's the kind of thing I might have wanted to toss some in on the ground floor.

afaik its the first noteworthy one. and im not sure on growth potential, it will make money and grow but mining is expensive and not high margin business afaik.

They have a tangible and very valuable asset when all else fails. GPUs and whatnot can be used for scientific computing, so once they transition away they will likely be a power in things like AI computing since they already have all the hardware. Good business model for long term considering how in demand compute power is.
