There is an effect known as the Boog-Max effect. Its will raise all latency and even distort the fabric of reality itself.
The Boogs giant mass will compress any nearby signals, through gravitational interference.

The only way to slow the effect is NOT to redempt corpses of seal bosses and always have a bo-barb in your game.
