I feel like i do nothing at work now, i just have casual conversations with people all day on common sense matters and get paid a lot to do it.

Feels different from when i was grinding 60-80 hour work weeks and felt like i was doing work 😐

Find passion for things outside of work (home improvements, relationships, etc.) and do that in your new free time.

As far as the office goes: I don’t miss the grind anymore and would be miserable having to go back to 60+ hour work weeks. I stopped feeling guilty about getting paid more to work less. As long as I can come home each night and reflect on how I impacted someone else’s growth/development, I have no qualms about them being there and learning and me being elsewhere developing myself on greater things.

If I remember correctly you’re in a leadership role so lead your team, engage them, develop them, and let them make/learn from mistakes and become better people. Nn for you to get into the busy work that’s not the best use of your time

Things are great outside of work, its just work itself that feels odd. I manage 3 teams and I haven't won over everyone yet, particularly those that have been there for 20 years and are old enough to be my father. Ive been making changes to improve their quality of life but it seems like its going to require a crisis per individual where I can help them out in order to earn their respect and its happening but its a slow process.

Outside of that when shit hits the fan and something breaks my role is reduced to nothing more than asking them to fix it and reporting on updates as I recieve them which is where i feel like i provide the least value.
