life doesnt hurt for sure, I usually run stat to like 30/35 on melee. Again, pumping vit as necessary.
True again... I run stat only armor 25 to MQ, I use the Max Life & Combo with +stat in the early levels... the reason is I like to Well items for more prof gain at lower levels, as for mid levels 25+, I use stat items.
Example would be that I find a Well @ level 2, I have Rank 1, thus I can Well Tier III items and gain max prof points of 10 on that monster and not go to town to shrine or have the chance to die. At higher levels, I Well items close to character level to gain the max prof points and kill off the monster again without going to town... this is just my way of gaining prof points as a solo player... so at 25, the lowest item I would well is level 10 (TierV)... BUT (big but) I will use a level 10 or 15 weapon (basically a Heavy weapon) and still gain max prof points... and yes, if I had a Rank of 24 with said Ranking, I would still gain max prof points... level 25 character and a Rank of 24 and welling a Tier V (level 10) item.
Again, this is just me being me... I prof hunt solo, and in doing so, I try to find the fastest way possible.
