Outside of the material conditions afforded to me by the circumstances of my birth, the speck of dirt I was born on is irrelevant. There are countless nations where I could have been born instead that would have ended up with better quality of life, and countless where it would be much worse. Fortunate, not proud, is the correct language imo.

i cant disagree completely. there are certainly a lot of non-pragmatic posters in PARD. and i think also whataboutism is so strong in the lexicon that there are a lot of "centrists" who just call everyone bad to not look hypocritical. accepting imperfection but in the right direction is the mature choice. holding out for the perfect leader is silly.

I personally knew Joe growing up from here in DE, met him on numerous occasions and my dad worked for him many times at his house.

He's an old grandpa now, but all of the "touch and sniff" shit is just the bitter right's attempt to bring him down to Trump's level of rape vibes. He's no more creepy than any other typical 70+ year old that talks slower and likes to hug and kiss and all of that.

I mean I hate that America keeps voting in old people on their last leg, but shit he's a better option than the orange man. Joe is a genuinely decent guy, and unlike most I can attest to that knowing him before he was in the white house as VP.
