how do i double up gores? i upped a pair of perfect with lem, ko, p diamond but i tried again with same runes and gem to no avil. what am i doing wrong?

gores are not a normal version :D The fact you use ko+lem means it's an exeptional -> elite upgrade :)

No ofc, how can you upgrade an elite item? For example, berserker axe to Super Axe? :D

Normal = no gores exist
Exceptional = gore in its pure form aka war boots
Elite = upped gores aka myrmidon graves

Normal = goblin toe
Exceptional = upped goblin toe
Elite = 2x upped goblin toe

Elite highest, so items that drops as Exceptional can only be upped once.
