I am wondering if an increase in poll accuracy and topic focus could happen by implemented new options and rules for polls.

Do you think this could be done by adding a timeframe in which a poll is not open to voting until a certain amount of time, posts, date, and or other happens?

Having the option of multi-voting or adding duration in which the polls are open/closed would be the two I could see happening.
As for pages/posts, I believe duration takes care of that to an extent.
