I've owned a couple toyota pickups, one with a 22r and one with the 3.0, absolutely loved them both as woods trucks. Currently own a 2003 Celica GTS that I bought for $1500. Got it from a young kid who paid 3k for it a month ago, it went into limp mode due to the butterfly getting stuck. Caused it to throw a tcm code, he couldn't figure out that it was a drive by wire instead of a cable system so he was buying parts that wouldn't fit. I drove it 3 hours home going 30 in limp, cleaned the maf sensor and the throttleboddy out and it ran like a champ. Body is in great condition, just needs cleaned up and painted. Interior is great aside from the front seats which get worn out from sliding in and out of the low ass car lmao.
Also have a Toyota Scion XB I picked up for $300 from my sister in law. Body isn't to bad, rockers are the big issue, can't find replacements or anything in junkyards so is gonna be getting a fab job this summer. It's also going to be getting a 2zz swap from the next gts celica I find with a motor.
