just going to suggest/name a movie... "Idiocracy" from 2006

Evolution didn't screw us. Even if we werent the the smartest creatures on the planet, we would still be on top of the food chain for multiple reasons. One is our stamina and special sweat glands, we can regenerate 100% of our stamina in a very short ammount of time, unlike say a cheetah that has to spend lots of time panting to recover from a burst of speed. Another one is our arm sockets, while we aren't the strongest by any stretch of the imagination, we can throw projectiles further and harder than any animal in the kingdom (a HUGE WEAPON). Another is our melanin process allows us to survive in harsh conditions on both side of the spectrum. I haven't even mentioned our opposable thumbs, immunesystem, vocal chords, or the myriad of other OP evolution points in the human being spec that other animals can only dream about.

We evolved from feral animals into thinking group animals, using tools and traps for hunting instead of teeth and claws. Stuff that you don't use devolves and stuff that you use evolves, like, for say, your brain.
In your case there must have been a mistake though, letting you out of the zoo.

i guess evolution didnt work for you. for me, my body rather invested energy into a brain instead of the named features to be competetive...
