I think owners were told to not expect the universal DH. Either way I don’t think he’ll be back with the Cubs regardless if there’s a DH or not.

The fact they dont know yet if there will be a DH is just embarrassing. It basically sums up the MLB under Manfred

Its affecting 15 teams and lots of players in an already difficult market because of uncertainty of upcoming revenue on how much attendance teams can expect. And baseball still doesnt even know the rules they are gonna play under next year.
