When I go to my profile it displays properly.

You'll want to change it to Dark Mode in your accounts Account Settings under "Display Settings" too.

The reason it displays Dark Mode correctly on your profile is because it is set that way under Settings, "Profile Settings" and your display is Dark Mode there.
