One case doesn't mean widespread. Unless you're referring to the probability that the rich have been committing immigration fraud for years in order to further their own interests then yes.

The argument about the social security number is also moot. Actually it makes little sense. If you stopped and thought for a second you would realize this. I don't think you're a stupid person. I think you're an idealist. You believe what you want to believe despite facts and that's fine. It makes you terrible to argue with though because your logic and reasoning skills don't add up. So then we have to argue against illiterate scenarios like what you listed.
