There were several stages to this.

In the 1990's-2000's, the media were center left.

2000's onward, the media were left exclusively and censored all conservative opinions. Covered up black crime, never acknowledged stay at home mothers, etc.

2010's, the media became satellite organizations of the DNC. They became Obama's puppets and their profit began to be tied to politics, this was when they planted the seeds of their doom.

2015's, the media goes full TDS, orange man bad hitler bad and orange.

2019's, big pharma told the media that they need to destroy Trump because 80% of media advertising revenue comes from big pharma - and Trump passed fair pricing legislation against the Pharma Czars. This is why they even Fox is losing their viewers now.
