Awful, cringe and cheesy.
It was like an intentionally cheesy 80's movie, with the moral dilemma of making selfish wishes, then every sinle person in the world acts altruistically at the same time to undo it (many in the west doing so selfishly, to save themselves from nuclear disaster).
They had a lot of time to work on this and the special effects were worse than some early 2000's movies. The scenes when Diana is running fast with the convoy in Egypt, look like cheesy green screen scenes from 1990's tv shows. None of the physics looked right.
Steve, out of nowhere, knew how to fly a fighter jet? Then Diana, out of nowhere, knew how to make the plane invisible? Then they fly through fireworks over the city at low altitude for a romantic slow motion moment. Then the last 20 minutes is some long sweeping emotional montage of people, with Diana's speech about how the world is a beautiful place, and the 'truth is enough'.
His son is just in the office the entire duration of the story, with no food or anything. Then he leaves the office and somehow finds himself walking along a freeway. At the end Maxwell lands a chopper randomly and his son just happens to come out of the bushes when he shouts his name
They didn't even attempt to set up the turn of the Barbara character.
It got more and more absurd as it went on, with none of it making much sense. I thought we had moved past these crappy films, considering some of the great superhero films released in recent years. This was a step backwards.
